This October, the David Livingstone Birthplace in Blantyre is celebrating Black History Month 2026 with guided tours highlighting the overlooked contributions of Black individuals who supported Livingstone’s African expeditions. Led by heritage trainee Natasha, these tours aim to illuminate their essential roles and provide a new perspective on Livingstone’s journeys.
MJB Landscapes Ltd has effectively mowed the grass at the David Livingstone Birthplace grounds on Station Road, Blantyre. Given the rapid grass growth due to the hot summer weather, their effort is commendable. The results are visually appealing and showcase their hard work.
