The Under 14s of Blantyre’s Kirkton Cobras Basketball Club achieved an impressive feat by winning all five games at a pre-season tournament in Easterhouse. Their strong teamwork, ball movement, and defensive pressure led to numerous turnovers. Players of the Day were Connor Healy and Thomas Mallaney, showcasing promising potential for the season ahead.
The Kirkton Cobras Basketball Club is recruiting players for all three age groups: Under 12s mixed, Under 14s boys, and Under 16s boys. Training occurs at John Ogilvie High School on specified days. Each team offers competitive matches, with Under 12s in the Edinburgh Ball Stars League and Under 14s in the SLBA Local League.
