A fly tipping incident occurred on Peth Brae, Blantyre, between 9pm and midnight on Wednesday, leaving an unsightly mess in the area. Residents are urged to report any information to the council, which is aware of the CCTV coverage that may help identify the culprit and facilitate clean-up.
Loanend Road (at the Peth Brae) will be fully closed between Bardykes Road and Malcolmwood from 9.30am to 3.30pm on Tuesday 19 December for utility repairs. Diversion will be via Bardykes Road, A724 Glasgow Road and Hamilton Road, Flemington Road and Loanend Road and also Flemington Road, Stoneymeadow Road, B7012 Hamilton Road and Hunthill Road.
