Amey has successfully repainted the railings of the Blantyre Farm Road bridge over the motorway, addressing concerns from the community group Grow Uddingston about their deteriorating condition. The restored bright blue color replaces the rusty appearance, showcasing effective collaboration. Amey plans to repaint the Glasgow Road bridge soon.
The council has successfully repaired the damaged railings at the entrance of Hamilton Technology Park and improved the overall appearance of the area by cutting the grass, edging the pavements, and weeding. This effort is commendable, deserving recognition for the positive changes made.
Slow Moving Traffic If you can, please avoid High Blantyre Road. A traffic accident at the lights near Glenlee Street is causing some serious tailbacks as of 4.10pm, today Wednesday 5th December 2018. A vehicle has collided with the railings. We hope everybody is ok.
