Blantyre’s Auchinraith and High Blantyre Primary Schools enjoyed a sunny school trip to Blair Drummond Safari Park on May 22nd. Students had a fantastic day observing wild animals. The weather was excellent, contributing to a memorable outing, with some kids falling asleep on the way back home.
Pupils from Auchinraith Primary School’s Primary 7 had an exciting day in London, visiting The Shrek Experience, meeting Shrek, and exploring The London Dungeons. Their fun-filled day concluded with a ride on The London Eye, making for an enjoyable experience on the South Bank for all involved.
South Lanarkshire Council is discontinuing its use of ‘x’ due to concerns about misinformation and extreme content. In response, affiliated organizations such as High Blantyre Primary School are also seeking alternative social media platforms for communication, while maintaining a closed page on ‘x’ temporarily for updates.
Schools and nurseries in South Lanarkshire will be closed from Monday, February 17th, to Wednesday, February 19th, for February break and an in-service day. Classes will resume on Thursday, February 20th.
