Time Capsule Goes Cashless: What It Means for Customers

The Time Capsule in Coatbridge will transition to a fully cashless venue starting March 9, 2026. Customers will only be able to make payments via card or mobile wallet, as cash will no longer be accepted at the reception and customer service desk. The venue encourages users to download their mobile app, Active NL.

The phased programme aims to enhance the overall swimming experience. Booking opens on 14 July.

The Time Capsule waterpark in Coatbridge, Scotland, is set to re-open in late July after repairs and renovations finished ahead of schedule. Closed since March, the facility underwent its most significant upgrade in 30 years, attracting around 700,000 annual visitors with entry fees between £3.55 and £6.85.
