We’re immensely proud to announce Blantyre’s BRAND NEW newspaper, “The Blantyre Telegraph” is now available in offline, newspaper format AVAILABLE today from local outlets!! Priced at just a £1, the monthly newspaper is entirely non profit making, run by volunteers with the FULL PROCEEDS going to local good causes and charities, starting this month with “The Haven”.
The full colour, A3 x 4 pages newspaper was launched today (11th June 2015) and is now available to buy at Royal Bank of Scotland, Jinxy’s Bakery and the Blantyre Library. Further outlets are being added to in the next week. Your little £1 will go a long, long way to helping the people of Blantyre.
Its hoped the red collection tins and distinctive, professional brand will become familiar all over Blantyre, bringing you local contemporary news, historical articles and much, much more. Many local good causes are going to be benefit from this and we hope you all get on board with us. It’s with sincere thanks to our advertisers and printers for helping us get this first issue up and running. We’ve loads of things planned, including investigating deliveries, so exciting times!
