LEAP are currently seeking volunteers in Blantyre, Hamilton, Bothwell and Uddingston to become a befriender or a handyperson. LEAP Hands On Project provides free practical assistance to people over 50 who are isolated or are experiencing some difficulty.
Could you visit an elderly people who is lonely? Or do you have the skills to complete a few odd jobs around the house for an elderly person who is unable to do it themselves?
