Blantyre Community Committee had a huge boost to their fundraising activities when today, Scotmid made a large financial contribution towards the forthcoming Christmas Lights Switch on event.
A spokesperson for the committee told us, “We’re pleased to unveil our sponsors for Blantyre’s Festive Event 2015 as…….”SCOTMID”. We can’t begin to tell you how thrilled we are to be associated with Scotmid again this year and for their wonderful large financial donation today, to make Blantyre’s Festive Event, the largest and best it can possibly be!! It’s going to be awesome. This is going to be an amazing family orientated day out with PLENTY to do, whether you’re adults or kids alike. “
As the countdown gets underway, the Committee will be bringing us all the exciting news about whats in store this year! The event is in Stonefield Public Park on Sunday 29th November 2015 from midday until 4.30pm and is free to enter.
