Residents in Low Blantyre have been left frustrated and annoyed this evening as power has been cut to their homes. As Scottish Power scramble to fix a damaged cable, electricity has been cut from homes at Devlin Grove, Elm Court, John Street and a few other surrounding streets.
Electricity has already been off for several hours and is expected to come back on shortly. This message is really to make others aware of why the area is in darkness, (as obviously those residents won’t be reading this unless they’re on charged devices and phones).
