High Blantyre
A few people have messaged us asking what the new shops will be in High Blantyre. The former e-cig and hairdressers shops next to Hyper Cyber (on the lower floor of the old Co building) are in the process of being completely renovated. With new shutters, full fit out, insulation and rewiring inside, the premises are still subdivided into two separate shops.
We managed to catch up with the landlord yesterday who told us, “We’re progressing with the renovation to make the shops more attractive for new tenants, but cannot state at this time who the new tenants will be or what kind of shops will be let here. We have however, had interest in the premises and hope to release our decision soon.”
These shops are being fitted out to a high standard and have good parking nearby. This comes at a time when slightly further up, two brand news shops are also planned for the former Apollo Pub building.
We hope to provide further news about all new shops in this part of Main Street in due course.
