Contractors have been busy the last couple of weeks getting the tarmac and white lining completed for the imminent opening of Blantyre ASDA’s carpark expansion.
Surfacing looks to be complete, white lining now done with the new carpark bays marked out. Bollards are in place with fencing being put up to separate the remaining landscaping and building of the Timpson’s Kiosk. Work is focusing on getting the pedestrian landscaping opening.
An ASDA staff member told us today, “The carpark expansion is rumoured to open imminently with the rest of the work expected to be completed to a programme before Christmas.”
