Local lady Lorraine Andrew and friends are walking 15 miles in this years Kiltwalk, all for FAMS charity!
The ladies will take part in the Kiltwalk on Sunday 28th April 2019 and are looking for others to join them. If YOU want to take part, please let them know of your interest in the comments below.
Lorraine told us this evening, (and not wishing to disclose her age) said, “I’m getting into training. I think we’ll call our team ‘The golden girls!'”
More about FAMS:
FAMS was created by three mothers October 2015; One mother who had lost her 17 year old son to Suicide, One mother who had lost her 20 year old son to Murder, One mother who had suffered mental health issues (Complex PTSD) since childhood. Their common bond and passion, to provide a “Safe Place” for young adults in distress; also their friends and families. FAMS have no paid staff so all Fundraising goes directly to running costs
