You may have noticed the red ash park at Stonefield Public Park is in a bit of a mess. A concerned resident today enquired to the council after noticing the amount of potholes, wheel ruts and general untidiness of the area.
A spokesperson for the council replied stating that the red ash park is not used much for football, indeed red ash throughout the region is not used now for football, unless people play there casually to make use of the space. The red ash park behind the sports centre is currently being used as an overflow carpark for the nearby Council offices, David Dale House.
Have your say. Is this space underused? Do YOU park there? Do you PLAY there?
