Our poll has now ended with 788 people taking part showing 62% of them hoping to attend the ‘Blantyre 80’s Party in the Park‘, this summer! Thank you to everybody who voted.
This was an important poll run on behalf of Blantyre Community Committee to test public interest in their summer event. The Committee intend to more than DOUBLE the size of the 80’s party this year! Following the poll, they have now announced that it WILL go ahead this year on Friday 14th June 2019 at Stonefield Public Park.
Get your spandex and leg warmers ready! Break out the shoulderpads! There’s even enough time to start a mullet! Tickets for this amazing event go on sale in early March, on a first come first served basis. Tickets are affordable and price is likely to be around the £12 mark.
