Paint Mess in Public Park

Dog walkers and families out enjoying Stonefield Public Park at Low Blantyre earlier today were horrified to discover an enormous amount of vandalism, with unsightly paint on public paths.

This was first reported to us last night, Saturday 01 March 2019, when it appears a nearby garage was broken into. At least two 10 litres tins of white paint were stolen and deliberately tossed on to paths at the Station Road entrance to the park.

It’s quite the mess as these pictures show! We hope the council can intervene soon as we’re not sure if the current rainy weather may make it worse? It’s clear people perhaps last night have accidentally walked through it already.
