Our fundraising totals for end of February is now in! Another notable month with money raised for local Blantyre causes, which of course is the main reason why this page exists!
We’re thrilled to announce that during February, Blantyre Telegraph has raised £95.12 towards local good causes! (This excludes all Blantyre Oscars fundraising which will be added in at end of April). Our fundraising now reaches a new whopping total of £23,003.97 for 122 local good causes to date since 2015!
Fundraising was from various sources:
£56.12 from the sale of Blantyre Project books.
£17.00 from public subscriptions on Blantyre Telegraph website
£22.00 from public donations on Blantyre Telegraph website
Every penny raised goes entirely to local good causes, as always. It has already been spent as follows:
£40 towards buying plants for Public flower beds around Blantyre
£10.12 donated to Blantyre Community Committee for the 2019 Blantyre Summer Gala Weekend via their new fundraising platform
£20 donation to Carla Crawford’s Just giving page for her kiltwalk
£24.99 for MAC Computer publishing studio software to set up a Monthly Glossy charitable Magazine for public to buy from April.
