Wow! We’ve hit a good milestone! Today, Sunday 17 March 2019, it’s been confirmed that 15,000 people are now following Blantyre Telegraph on Facebook!
That’s just incredible considering that’s actually more than the current adult population of Blantyre! We know many people outwith Blantyre and even abroad are following the page too. With thanks to everybody who follows this page, volunteer run not just for local news but to try to raise some money for local causes too.
The numbers of people following has ‘rocketed’ since we recently introduced a professional, common branding of our logo, website, banners, literature and posts, with over 1,000 people joining since New Year alone!
Don’t forget you can get the news first and foremost on our main website at http://www.theblantyretelegraph.com and of course it follows very quickly afterwards, on to the Facebook page.
April is going to be a BIG month for Blantyre Telegraph and we have a bit of an announcement coming real soon. (It’s all good. VERY good!)
