There was a DOUBLE celebration recently at Auchinraith Primary School, Blantyre.
Assembly pupils presented Mr McHugh with a cheque for £300 for Kilbryde Hospice. The money was raised by hosting a charity day in the school.
If that wasn’t enough, there was another celebration as teacher Miss Benson won the most amazing raffle prize! Blair Benson, a teacher at Auchinraith Primary, had been at the Kilbryde Hospice yearly masquerade ball when her ticket was drawn and she couldn’t believe it when she won….a car!!
The teacher was presented with a cheque to purchase her car.
