Our fundraising totals for end of April are now in and WOW! What a month!!
We’re absolutely thrilled to announce that during April, Blantyre Telegraph has raised £1,645.05 towards local good causes! Our fundraising now reaches a new whopping total of £24,815 for 133 local good causes to date since 2015!
Fundraising was from various sources:
£1,358.05 at Blantyre Oscars 2019
£116.00 from the sales of Edition 1 (April) Magazine.
£82.00 from Magazine Advertsing.
£32.00 from public subscriptions on our website.
£32.00 from public donations on our website.
£13.00 from the sale of Blantyre Project books.
£12.00 from Website Advertising.
Every penny raised goes entirely to local good causes, as always. We’re pleased to announce, this will be spent as follows:
£1,000.00 to Blantyre Community Committee to assist with costs of this years Summer Gala in June.
£358.05 donation to the Beatson Clinic in Glasgow.
£100.00 cash donation to High Blantyre Primary School to help buy raffle prizes for their summer fayre.
£100.00 cash donation to Eilidh’s Rainbow Charity for raffle prizes for their event on 1st June 2019.
£45.00 Boots Vouchers donation to Julie Morris Highland Dancers Group.
£42.00 to Hi-BABS charity.
All cheques are going out this week.
