Once again, fly tippers seem intent on ruining the countryside around Blantyre.
This time, laybys on Calderside Road, just off Sydes Brae, High Blantyre were strewn by dumped mess, spoiling the whole area. The people doing this clearly have no regard for Blantyre or the people who live here. The rubbish appears to be a mixture of residential and demolition material.
We know exactly only too well how upsetting this is for local people. It’s time something was done.
