You’re invited along to a public event tomorrow evening, Wednesday 5th June 2019 at Blantyre Miners Welfare to celebrate the launch of the “Blantyre Community Action Plan 2019-2024“
Using collective feedback from over 1,500 Blantyre residents of all ages, the action plan sets out common themes and has identified areas of priority requiring attention, improvement and focus.
Blantyre Steering Group now evolves into volunteer led action group, “Blantyre Futures“. Visitors coming along will hear from community groups who have benefited so far from fantastic grant awards and what the funding has meant for them. Additionally, every person attending will be given a free copy of the Action plan and teas, coffee and cake is available.
Come along and see how YOU can get involved in taking the Action Plan forward, the first phase of a focused, 5 year improvement journey for Blantyre.
The event takes place in Blantyre Miners Welfare from 6.30pm until 8.00pm. All welcome.
