At around 2.15am in the early hours of Tuesday 25th June 2019, a white Mercedes B Class vehicle was discovered ablaze, just off Blantyre Ferme Road.
The fire was on Greyfriars Road next to Haughhead Bridge. Fire services extinguished the fire and thankfully nobody was around. It is known the vehicle was deliberately set on fire, so police are keen to speak to any witnesses. They can be contacted on 101.
