
Announcing the “September Slimdown“! We’re hosting a fantastic slimming challenge through the coming month of September.
Need to lose a few pounds? We’re looking for loads of people, male or female willing to take part in a brilliant 4 week FREE challenge. Get a little bit fitter, clothes fitting better, lose a couple of inches. Sounds good?
Between Monday 2nd September and Monday 30th September all you need to do is:
- Eat a little healthier than usual, with less calories
- Faithfully do at least 10 minutes exercise per day.
That’s it! Exercise could be something simple like walking the dog, going for a gentle walk, swimming, getting off at an earlier bus stop, a run or something as simple as walking on the school run.
Mondays mornings will be weigh in days, here on Blantyre Telegraph Facebook page. Four of them, the first being on the 9th after the first week. For your privacy, we would NEVER ask your weight, only to comment on how much you lost eg. “I lost -2lbs this week”. At the end of the challenge, we’ll be adding up everybody’s weight to see how much Blantyre collectively lost during September. There may even be a little prize….
