Blantyre’s Christmas Lights Switch on Event is being held on Sunday 24th November 2019 from Midday until 4.30pm.
It may be only the start of September, but Blantyre Community Committee’s 8 volunteers are already busy in the background ensuring a spectacular, fantastic day out is planned for everybody!
The FREE entry, family fun day is once again expected to have thousands of people attending at McAnulty Public Park, Blantyre.
There will be a fab Christmas Market held in the large hall inside the Blantyre Leisure Centre. With Santas Grotto, cafe and dozens of stalls, it promises to be an excellent day out. This year the market has tremendous variety.
Children will love the fairground rides with games, live acts and entertainment planned for the outdoor stage. With Christmas street lights due to be switched on at 4.20pm with a few surprises in store, this is a date for your diary. Please share.
