Full “Harvest” Moon

A rare type of full moon can be seen tonight, Friday, September 13 and with Blantyre’s clear skies this evening, it’s perfect conditions to see!

This will be the last full moon on the spooky date of Friday 13th until 2049, according to reports.

Tonight’s Harvest Moon is so named because the moon reaches peak brightness close to the equinox. This full moon each year is associated with times of harvest.

** COMPETITION TIME **
