A young girl was struck by a car on High Blantyre Road this morning.
Emergency services attended the scene following the accident around 8.15am, today Tuesday 24 September 2019.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “We were called at 8.13am this morning to High Blantyre Road to a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian, an 11-year-old female. The pedestrian was treated for minor facial injuries at the scene.
Traffic was queued for a while, but the road is now clear. We hope everybody involved is ok.
