A man was robbed at knifepoint in a Blantyre Park yesterday.
Around 5.30pm on Saturday 29th September 2019, a local man was making his way home at McAnulty (Stonefield) Public Park. The 35 year old was approached by 2 males in their 30’s, one of them tall, the other around 5 foot 7, both with dark greyish hair.
The lowlifes then suddenly punched and robbed the man, pulling out a knife. They took his bank card and house keys after demanding his pin number, leaving him in shock.
However, we have it on good authority, that police treated this crime with utmost priority, which by yesterday had resulted in both men being picked up.
