Continuing with the allocation our October Fundraising, we were delighted today to use £100 to give the ‘Blantyre Toy Drive 2019‘ a worthwhile boost!
The money was used to buy 24 lovely gifts for Blantyre children, which will be given out by Santa at the forthcoming Christmas Lights Switch on Event on Sunday 24th November 2019.
WANT TO GET INVOLVED WITH THE TOY DRIVE?
1. Simply buy any toy(s) with a value of no more than £5 and as many as you want, then hand it in to Glen Travel’s shop at Glasgow Road during midweek or in Saturday opening hours.
2. Or alternatively, donate whatever you wish financially at the Official Committee Donation Page here from the comfort of your own home: https://blantyrecommunitycommittee.com/donate/ so they can buy the toys directly.
