Some significant disruption is expected in High Blantyre this week as contractors close off the B7012, Hamilton Road.
The full road closure is necessary due to resurfacing works and is in place already from this morning, Sunday 17 November 2019.
Works are expected to take 6 working days, re-opening on 26th November. The closure is in place from Stoneymeadow Road right down the hill to the entrance to Shott Drive at Avant Homes.
Local access for Greenhall Farm Cafe & Shop is permitted and their business is open as normal. (Just say to contractors and they’ll let you in!)
