The Christmas Lights were switched on in Glasgow last night, Sunday 17 November to great celebration, an event which opened with a local choir featuring a Blantyre lass.
Six year old Sophie Sloan, the youngest in the choir stood centre stage. Part of the Performance Academy Drama & Theatre School, it was a real honour for them to perform in front of so many people.
Sophies family are naturally very proud. We hear also that the lady who runs the choir, Lisa originated also from Blantyre.
Well done! Christmas has started with a sparkle!
