
Our fundraising totals for November 2019 are in and have now been allocated to local good causes. It’s been another great month with many people benefiting all over Blantyre.
During November, Blantyre Telegraph has raised an outstanding £617.00 towards various local good causes! Since 2015, our fundraising now reaches a new updated incredible total of…wait for it…. £29,094 for 174 local good causes!
Fundraising was from various sources:
£144.00 from the sales of Edition 8 (November) Magazine.
£66.00 from Magazine Advertising.
£10.00 from public subscriptions on our website
£35.00 from public donations
£250.00 from private donations
£112.00 from the sale of Blantyre Project books.
£0.00 from Website Advertising.

Every penny raised goes entirely to local good causes, as always. We’re pleased to announce, this has been spent as follows:
£250.00 for Blantyre Community Committee for decorating Santas Grotto and for presents for the amazing Toy Drive
£150.00 to buy loads of Quality Street boxes for local businesses, their staff and customers
£67.00 for raffle gifts for High Blantyre Ladies Guild Bingo night.
£60.00 to buy elderly woman frozen food after her freezer broke during power cuts
£50.00 to Bonnie Blantyre for medals and awards for their sunflower competition, donated onwards to Blantyre Community Council.
£40.00 for buying 2 beautiful War dead remembrance wreaths from local sources.

How to get Involved supporting the Community
There are several fantastic ways you can support Blantyre Telegraph.
