Scotland’s First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon took time this evening from a busy SNP campaign trail to drop into Blantyre Miners Welfare on Calder Street.
The big yellow “Stop Brexit” bus rolled up outside the Miners Welfare earlier tonight, Monday 9th December 2019 where the First Minister was warmly greeted by surprised people inside the premises.
She took time to talk to many people and even had time for a quick dance as a Christmas party was underway. Film crews were there too, so no doubt this is a story we’ll see more of on TV.
The General Election takes place this Thursday 12th December.
