Heavy showers continued today with flood alerts still in place for much of Central Scotland. As we’ve seen over the last couple of days, its left many roads and fields flooded, with rivers bursting their banks.
The scene earlier today at the Blantyre Skatepark [pictured] looked more like a new pool!
Although it should be drier in the next day or two, things are turning colder with a risk of sleet and wintry showers. We remind people to take care especially at the riverside where rivers are currently fast flowing, often with their edges hidden by floodwater.
