There’s a project underway at Ayr which hopes to create sand dunes to protect the beach and coastline against erosion. The organisers are looking for your help. Do you have a real Christmas tree?
Why don’t you bring down your old tree to Blackburn car park, Ayr beach , South Ayrshire – on Sunday 12 January 2020 from 10:00-12:00 where they will reuse it to restore former and create new sand dunes.
The long lasting benefits far outweighing the carbon footprint of the round trip.
