A woman was attacked this morning, Thursday 9th January 2020 while out walking her dogs at the Clyde Walkway. This story is being widely shared on social media. The incident happened at Tolcross, and NOT at the Blantyre part of the walkway.

After her puppy chased after and stole the ball from the dog of a passing man, the man turned violent and punched the woman repeatedly on the head and face. She fell to the ground and he then started kicking her.

This man was an extremely aggressive and violent attack resulting in injuries. He was about 5’10” wearing a beanie hat, a green running jacket and running tights. His dog was a young border collie. He also threw the woman’s phone into the Clyde when she tried to call for help.

The lady wishes to make people aware who use that stretch of the walkway. We hope she makes a speedy recovery and this guy gets caught.
