Our January Fundraising

Our fundraising totals for January 2020 are now announced here and have been allocated to local good causes.

January is always the quietest month for most traders and for us , it was no exception. Despite this, Blantyre Telegraph still raised £190.30 all towards various local good causes! Since 2015, our fundraising now reaches a new updated incredible total of…wait for it…. £30,252 for 184 local good causes!

Fundraising was from various sources:
£96.00 from the sales of Edition 10 (January) Magazine.
£28.00 from Magazine Advertising.
£12.00 from public subscriptions on our website
£5.00 from public donations
£23.30 from the sale of Blantyre Project books.
£26.00 from Website Advertising.

Every penny raised goes entirely to local good causes, as always. We’re pleased to announce, this has been spent as follows:

£129.00 to buy 86 year old Ronnie Grant a new wallet, replace his lost £100 in lost cash and give him a nice gift.
£25.00 for little Ellie Gardiner to surprise her nana with flowers
£36.00 for a 1 x A4 stand and charity donation tin/stickers for another new outlet for our magazine.
