It’s with sadness that we learn of the passing of Michael Carr Brannan who slipped away yesterday on the 17th February at the age of 87.
Michael, also known as Mick was a well known Blantyre born and bred man, a former veteran and a well known member of the Knights of St Columba Club.
The family have released funeral plans. There will be a rosary held in Joseph Nelson’s funeral parlour on Wednesday 26th February at 7.30pm then recieved into St Joseph’s church at 8.00pm. Michael’s funeral will take place on Thursday 27th February, 10.00am at St Joseph’s Church on Glasgow Road, Blantyre. Then at 11.00am at Priestfield Cemetery, then on to the Parkville, Glasgow Road, Blantyre.
It’s clear from speaking with family just how much Mick is going to be missed. Our sympathies go out to all his family and friends at this sad time.
