Local woman Morag Campaigne is making these excellent mask extenders for her daughter and her colleagues at Queen Elizabeth Hospital. These knitted mask extenders take pressure off the ears and head when masks are worn for long time. She added, “if there are crocheters out there these would be an asset to nursing staff and they could be done and dropped into the nearest hospital.”
It’s amazing to see people use such creative initiatives for such worthwhile causes.
