What else was going on in Blantyre today?
Well, thanks need to be said to whoever put a tree fire out at the Calder earlier. A fallen tree was observed smouldering on fire just after 9am this morning, Sunday 19th April but a few hours later, reported as having been completely put out, not far from the river.
Its unknown how the fire started.
