Yesterday, Friday 24 April 2020 was a warm day. So what a surprise it was when the residents in Victoria Care Home, Blantyre were given an unexpected nice treat….free ice cream and desserts!
The wonderful gesture was made by Roxy’s Desserts in the Family Shopper High Blantyre who kindly supplied ice creams and desserts for all residents and care workers.
A family member of one of the care home residents told us, “My dad really thought this was a nice thing and obviously enjoyed his ice cream! I just thought this was such a nice thing to do.”
