Receiving a lot of messages about seeing smoke in High Blantyre this evening, Saturday 02 May 2020. This was due to a serious fire at a house in Kirkton Avenue. Reports started coming in around 8.20pm. Emergency Services attended the scene, the fire now out. It’s understood that nobody is injured.
Residents in the street have asked for this post to ensure that people stay clear.
