We’re absolutely thrilled to announce the Blantyre Telegraph charitable monthly magazine will return at the end of next month!
Since suspending the magazine in April due to the pandemic, today’s news means we can restart publishing and progress plans for printing. All being well, the magazine will settle back into its normal monthly publishing routine, available in shops from the end of July.
Priced at just £1, with the full cost going entirely to Blantyre good causes, it sees a return to our normal way of fundraising, with not one penny retained. With kind assistance from Gavin Watson printers, we hope to get back to bringing you the latest Blantyre news in full colour every month, keeping you all up to date with what’s going on in Blantyre and of course raise money for worthwhile good causes.
We have a wonderful packed edition coming soon featuring the full story of how this town handled the covid crisis from beginning right up to Phase 2, with some remarkable stories from during lockdown and directly from volunteers at the forefront of Blantyre’s response.
We know you’ve all missed the magazine, so you’ll be pleased to hear we have 2 further new outlets extending Blantyre Telegraph to 14 different outlets all over the town! There’s no excuse not to pop your £1 into one of our red tins and take a copy.
Advertising opportunities for local Blantyre businesses are now available again starting at just £16 for a full colour monthly advert. Please keep in mind those adverts will be seen throughout August only.
