It isn’t often this year we’ve said this, but isn’t Priestfield Cemetery looking great!
During lockdown we posted several times about unfortunate vandalism, the long grass, weeds, theft and even flytipping! Its general untidiness had become a talking point. However, now that restrictions have been lifted and the council are back to work, we have to say, they’ve done a brilliant job!
As our photos show today, the grass is nicely cut and growing back a lush green, nicely edged too. Flower beds have been planted and in bloom with not a weed in sight. No litter, empty bins, trees trimmed and painted benches. It all looks very peaceful, well kept and much more of a standard we all expect. It’s been a many months since it looked so good. Long may that continue. Well done to everybody involved in this excellent tidy-up.
