The brand new Jacks of Blantyre store was officially opened yesterday by well known Blantyre man, Mick McCann.
Over 600 people voted for Mick in our fab poll this week after the public chose their nominees. He had the privilege of opening the new shop on Main Street, High Blantyre when a small crowd attended the opening just after 10am yesterday, Friday 24 October 2020.
The ribbon was cut, Mick being the great speaker he is, said some kind words and ‘Jacks of Blantyre’ was officially opened. Mick was presented with a wonderful hamper. Thanks to Mo Razzaq for his kindness on the day and great to see all the amazing deals, offers and freebies!
Mick added afterwards, “It was a great honour to be ask to officially open Jacks new store in High Blantyre. Thanks to Mo for your kind gift. The Hamper will be raffled for St Andrews Day Care to help buy Christmas Presents for their service users.”
