Local band, ‘The Naked Feedback’ are releasing a fantastic new single and we think you’ll be very impressed!!
With major disruptions to the band’s plans of touring, they’ve jumped straight into something unique for an unsigned act: by bringing out their very own James Bond theme!
Every member of the band is a massive James Bond fan and have been quite vocal about how uninspiring and quite lacklustre the recent James Bond themes have been: Although the tracks from Billie Eilish, Sam Smith and Adele have been good they lack the drive and energy from the classics of the franchise. The band has been writing during lockdown and sharing ideas to bring together a record that takes inspiration from our favourite Bond themes and also memorable film scenes from the franchise.
The project sees The Naked Feedback delving further into the unknown by writing and performing their very own original orchestral score over the track itself.
‘No Time To Die’ may have been postponed but this November you will see something better. The band is releasing their own Spy story in the form of a short film accompanying the track! The aim is to bring back the grit & edge the Daniel Craig films deserve & they believe the alternative will go down a storm with bond & rock fans worldwide. So in essence, they’re battling MGM and Billie Eilish and they clearly welcome the challenge!
Also cast as Bond is Blantyre’s very own Gary Bennett!
A band spokesperson told us, “We are expecting a lot of BBC Scotland air play and other commercial radio stations are planning to play the track throughout November too. Our PR team over at Burstimo are organising interviews and such with other platforms, however we thought we would reach out personally to Blantyre Telegraph too.
