We headed back over to the Cenotaph this afternoon to get a few more photos and we’re delighted to see so many wreaths and tributes have been laid since this morning.
Remembrance may have taken a different shape this year, but it’s clear that so many organisations and individuals came to pay their respects and the community pulled together, as always to remember all those who died. Combined with the live streaming of church services and doorstep 2 minutes silence, it was especially nice to see just as many wreaths as normal and of course all in beautifully decorated and poignant surroundings.
We remember the sacrifice. Our freedom appreciated. We shall remember.
