The global health pandemic continues to have an effect on everyday items. This time, it’s stamps that are increasing in price.
With less letters sent this year due to offices being closed, the Royal Mail has had to adjust its prices in order to meet its future annual running costs.
So, with the sharpest increase in recent years, the cost of a first class stamp will rise by 9p to 85p on 1 January, Royal Mail has announced. A second class stamp will also go up in price, rising by 1p to 66p on the same day.
Have your say. How often do YOU use stamps?
