Much of Lanarkshire has awoken to a blanket of snow this morning, Friday 4th December 2020.
Blantyre has a couple of inches of snow lying on the ground, but temperatures are already warming up with last night’s snow turning already to sleet. Layers of ice remain underneath from yesterday, making driving conditions difficult.
Take care on the school run and if you’re out walking on pavements, which may be ungritted.
