A local woman has expressed her anger at the amount of discarded glass at Redlees Urban Park after her dog, ‘Bailey’ was left injured.
Bailey unfortunately had to get stitches at the vet yesterday after shards of broken glass bottles cut his feet. He was bleeding badly, leaving his concerned owner shocked and angered. The poor soul was left sedated for some time yesterday after the glass nicked one of his veins.
Glass is especially hard to see at the moment too, because of the deeper snow.
Owner, Jane Campbell, speaking of the idiots who left the glass smashed around the park, told us (amongst other words), “I hope they’re proud of themselves!”
We urge caution to pet owners walking there for now and hope Bailey makes a speedy recovery.
